Dr Corey Smith is a specialist cardiologist with interest in the investigation and treatment of patients with palpitations, syncope and cardiac arrhythmias as well as device treatment of heart failure.

Dr Smith studied medicine and graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales and then undertook physician training at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. He is a fellow of the Royal Australiasian College of Physicians, completing cardiology training through the South Eastern Sydney Area Health Network. He then undertook two years of further training in cardiac electrophysiology and implanted cardiac devices at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. Dr Smith then completed a further clinical fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Science Centre, Halifax, Canada, where he focused on complex ablation including for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.
